Taman Negara which means "National Park" in Malay is located in the center of Malaysia in the state of Pahang.
It's one of the oldest tropical rainforest on the earth.
It's also well known for it's Canopy Walkway which is the longest in the world.

To go inside the National Park and to take photos with your camera you have to pay entrance fees.

I went there with my Scottish friend Bob from Glasgow who I met in my guesthouse in Tanah Rata.
We took the taxi boat from Kuala Tembeling Jetty (about 2 hours).
We rented a twin bed room in Kuala Tahan ("Tahan Guesthouse") which is the town just on the opposite of the entry of Taman Negara (just 2 minutes to cross the river by taxi boat).

We went to the Canopy Walkway and we did a little trek to reach "Bukit Terisek".
We also did a night safari by 4x4 car.
We saw few animals: very small monkey, wild cats, tropical birds and small part of a King Cobra...

We use to go to the same restaurant everyday to get our chicken curry with noodles and ananas fresh juice. Sometimes, we ate a special homemade burger (too much salad for Bob).

Bob is gone one day before me.
I spent the last night in a really cheap accomodation called "Rippi Hostel" (about 2€).
The managers was nice and funny but there was nothing even no electricity:
